I have two Raspberry pi Kodi setups, one for video and another with a HiFiBerry hat as an audio input to an analog stereo. I use Kore to control video and the web app for playing through the stereo or streaming to my workstation or phone. I still play vinyl, but digital is so convenient.

Respecting boundaries is a minimal social requirement. Kudos to anyone who takes steps to preserve their own choices.

Good communication from the onset is important. When I invited ANYONE to dinner, then I would include an offer to pick up the tab. I would not turn down an offer to split the bill, but I cannot imagine renigging on picking up the tab.
