I'm in total burn out. Have been for years now. Trad art is hard for me to WANT to do, so I'm thinking this might be an alternative for the time being.

THIS RIGHT HERE is why I abandoned all group chats. I'm old, I don't spend all my free time online, when I do say something it's ignored or there's just a string of sticker/emojis with no real convo. Or there's like 10 people who talk non stop and like 300 who never say a word. I just can't deal

When social media took off, the interactions I got just disappeared. I tried to do social media myself, but it's hard. I can't keep up with trends, or the newest thing. I'm just tired, I work a full time job so being online 24/7 isn't something I can or want to do.

It was bound to happen, the con is during a good time of year. No other furry cons near by really to compete with. Plus there's TONS to do outside of the con space. There are other locations, but they are more arenas and further in the state with little to nothing to do outside the con space.

Yeah I had to go in late October. I only had to waste 2 days, the judge told us that all court cases were backed up so nothing was really going through. Though if you don't get chosen, you won't be summoned again for 5 years. Unless you wanted to volunteer. So here's hoping it's fast for you.

I was summoned, I wasn't picked. The court system was backed up so they summoned way more people then they needed. They did pay me (like $20 a day ie paid for parking) I only had to show up for 2 days because again system was backed up. Bring a lunch and something to do.

Guess there's some really bad weather, dealers tent has water on the floor. Plus going to be high winds this weekend.

Next and last event for me thos year will be NorGeekster located on the Portland, ME USM campus the Saturday before Thanksgiving. I'll post a reminder and the flyer when it gets closer.
