Open to audio makers of all kinds in North Carolina and surrounding states. The NC Audio Group meets online to share resources, build community, and offer feedback, along with hosting occasional guest speakers and in-person meet-ups.

They earned a Bachelors of Journalism, as well as a Bachelor of Arts with a dual focus in Sociology and Women's and Gender Studies from the University of Missouri. They enjoy TTRPGs, fiction writing and walks with good music.

They continue to proudly serve as the Medicaid "nerd" almost everywhere they go — with little to no prompting needed. Before IPB, Ruhman was a reporter, producer and anchor for KBIA and helped produce an elections administration podcast.

Christina has written for narrative podcasts appearing on "best-of" lists from the NYT to Vulture + Apple Podcasts. She's also worked on narrative series + chatcasts as the sole narrator + w/ multiple hosts. And worked on all stages of the process, from devl to research, interview prep + marketing.
