I’m with you. I use Stage Manager with Magic Keyboard and pair my apps together similar to split view. But when using it handheld, I really miss slide over.

It syncs well but I agree on watch app. On iPad (13”), I use it in a narrow window so it looks fine. I embraced windowing a year ago but still basically just use pairs of apps but like always having access to the dock.

Thanks for encouraging me to give it another go. I try it every year or so. I’m not a fan of the UI and do think Overcast still sounds better. One benefit is there are apps on all Apple devices like WATCH and TV which all remain in sync.

People (including myself) need to be better at managing their workloads, including notifications. Platforms and tooling should offer users as granular control as possible. I am very thankful Slack (finally!) added VIPs.
