Not that I mean to want to redo models after I built them, but that left buzzard is still bugging me. Love how the model came out though, especially how well the JN-13 Tamiya worked for the base.

My only regret with rebuilding this was I chose paint that was too dark. The original color I gave it was much more in line, but the lighting was so much better on this one, and it’s the one I still have. Sadly, an accident caused the red alert lights to cease function.

Looking back on this one, I can’t believe how many problems I had building it. How many components I ruined, the painting was off when I was masking it, and I vaguely remember trying to fix the engineering hull a bunch. Oh, and I frosted the bridge dome and screen.

Technically, my first redo (since it was another Connie Refit), but it’s the -A, so technically it’s another ship. Definitely better than the first one, but would have loved to use the new Aztecs at the time.

Since building Defiant, I have actually redone this model, and made a series of tutorial videos on how to light it. I was mostly happy with version 1, but the paint was too dark for this one.

Excelsior would be the first model I would begin doing linked LED strips with single LEDs. Not bad for a first attempt, but along with the Refit Enterprise, would definitely like to redo this one.
