He’d panicked and thrashed about until he met the safety of the shore. Only then did he allow himself to breathe and observe where Ilriel had brought him. The sister Gate rested in the center of a spring, sheltered by a high canopy of bramble blocking out the sky. The man had sat back in the dirt, letting out a puff of white breath into the cold air. A shadow had fallen over him, and he looked up expecting to see Ilriel but instead met a set of four, wide eyes looking back at him. He couldn’t help but stare. Ilriel had told him about elves, but he’d had trouble imagining what they looked like. This one had prim, dark brown curls and brown skin, and wore an odd pair of glasses with a little circular lens for each eye. Like Ilriel, this fae before him had an odd beauty, their many orange eyes wide, curious, and cat-like. “Who …?” the man had asked. The elf had laughed nervously, replying in an accented English, “Naelan. I opened the Gate for you. Ah—here, did you drop this?” This “Naelan” held out the man’s old cane. He hesitated before taking it back from them. Lamb Stag & Wolf's been out for a month so far & its been neat hearing people's interpretations of the story. Im not gonna say whos wrong or right cause thats the fun part to me, but Ive found it interesting how many people see Rev. Blackwood as a person whos just a rly misguided fellow 1/5

And 80% of it is just some Priest being really obsessive and touchy with a statuette representative of a forest god and 20% is written in metaphors about moss and rot and green overtaking his body:

The best part of watching the conclave livestream is the baby seagull and its family that showed up to chill on the sistine chapel roof right before they let out the white smoke.

Some fan art I did for the dragon prince a while ago. Im not really in the business of making fan art, however I love that show and specifically Viren and also I love how I did this piece. So.

Bug Pal (a purple, dragon-like millipede creature) ascends from behind Viren, and a translucent, ghost-like Aaravos (an elf with horns, who is of a similar purple to Bug Pal) peeks just his upper body over the top of Bug Pal while lounging with a cheek resting on the back of one hand. With his other hand, Aaravos reaches down to the essence being drawn up from Viren, as though the one pulling it out of him.
