The next time we were at the book store, I took him right to the History section and started showing him WW2 books featuring plenty of pictures of liberated concentration camps, explaining to him what they did to people, their ideology and why it must be stamped out anywhere it pops up.

Parents ARE the problem. They park their children in front of screens and down the youtube rabbit hole they go.
A child in my older son's class made some remark about Nazis, which my clueless son repeated at the dinner table.
