🔙Last time out: These two have met once before already this season with The Diamonds losing out 3-2 in the Premier Sports Cup Group stages. Alloa opened the scoring in the 29th minute with a goal from Owen Foster. Airdrie replied with a goal from Aidan Wilson in the 62nd minute.

Euan Henderson is returning to Indodrill tonight after he had a loan spell there in which he found the net fourteen times. David Hutton and Bryan Prunty also both had a spell at tonight's hosts.

Neil Parry, who had a spell with Airdrie in the 2015-16 season, is Alloa's goalkeeping coach and Graeme Holmes is also involved in Andy Graham's backroom team.

Alloa finished thirteenth in the League stage of this competition. Airdrie come into this one off the back of a 2-1 win away in Dingwall. Alloa also won their last game and won 4-0 against Peterhead at the Indodrill.

Aaron Taylor Sinclair will be hoping his side can keep up their good form with Airdrie only losing two out of their last seven games. The Diamonds have happy memories in this competition after they won it in the 23/24 season after beating Welsh team TNS.
