MI with Ensemble Gamut!
The name MI refers to the Arctic flower Micranthes stellaris, and to my own piece
Mieli meni (“And so the Mind Went”). MI is also the third note of the Gamut scale. I hope you enjoy it!

HOORAY! Karitas / Jää (Leinikille) out today! The piece merges together a chant by Hildegard von Bingen my own piece, which is dedicated to an arctic flower Jääleinikki (Ranunculus glacialis).

Excited to announce a new collaboration with the leading Classical music label in Finland with my trio Ensemble Gamut!

This was quite a special project- improvising on a synthetic language between Finnish and Japanese, interacting with artificial voices on a sound installation created by composer and media artist Chicku Komiya!

Finland is a big country! During our January tour we travelled almost 3000km in the train with my Ensemble Gamut! Here a few moments from our concert in Oulu🙏🏼❤️
