Being a latchkey kid and parents tired from working, it was reading, playing outdoors or inside were typically my options. I created many a production with dolls and stuffed animals in my room. I truly had a magical childhood filled with so much imagination that I wish I had harnessed it!

Most kids don’t enjoy reading which is sad. At least for me. The images in my head from all the books I’ve read, extraordinary! I remember watching the first Harry Pottwr (and then subsequent ones) feeling let down. But I’d enjoy a truer to the book adaptation.

I read the book first and many years later saw the musical. Boy howdy, different! But good. Maybe we should tell the kiddies that sometimes those books are so much better because you can imagine it in your head.

So yet another lazy, entitled person who wants the image of a job but refuses to do it. Hmm, I’ve had coworkers like this and they are praised. Note to self…become lazy and they will praise you!
