False. The United States since its founding adhered to the principle of jus soli. 1790 Naturalization Act, Inglis v. Trustees of Siailor's Snug Harbour (who sought inheritance rights despite his father's allegiance to Britain) and Lynch v. Clarke all predates the 14th Amendment.

Birthright Citizenship is unequivocally one of the greatest things that make the US unique in its identity. Ending it is suspending an enshrined element of the Constitution and betraying what the Founding Fathers envisioned about this country. It is categorically UNAMERICAN!
