I guarantee it isn't AI. The wire is mechanically sound, there's no artifacting on the blowing grass, nor smudging in the log. The owl's silhouette, for as faint as it is, is remarkably consistent. And there's no pure black tones despite the abundance of white. It's uncanny for sure, but not AI.

Oh yeah, this is very common. I haven't yet tried scanning any, but back when they still came in bags, I would stand in the store for hours just feeling through every single one to find the figures I want. Only ever got one wrong. I get why they moved to boxes, but I do miss the bags.
