Part of why I tend to go to artists first to get fandom takes as well as enjoy their work, so much of media literacy relies on visual information.

Seeing especially a lot of younger women being this exact type of apologist for the things they are into and I can't think of a nice way to say "oh honey they are never going to think you're cool."
