I hear what you’re saying and we’ve only just started taking our kids to restaurants now that our youngest is 4 for this reason. Every trip we’ve gone on has been with family so that has helped and made it worth it for us.

Had my 20th in October on LI and fought with almost everyone not to vote for Trump. Guess it didn’t make a difference!

I use “groceries” and “grocery store” all the time now, but growing up on Long Island our family called it by the store name (“Stop and Shop”) or we called it the “super market.”

Also- this photo is from her previous pregnancy. She was nearly 9 weeks pregnant when she was declared brain dead. She should not have had to stay on life support if the family did not wish it.

I agree. I never pay for seat selection for my family and so far I’ve been lucky that we’ve always been put together. We should not have to pay more for our kids to sit with their guardians.

But 10 years ago she was 14 years old. When he was president she was a teen and her family and community all support Trump. I can understand where she is coming from and can’t say I’d vote differently if I didn’t know any better. Thankfully I do.

It does seem like a lot of America just doesn’t “get it”… yet. In northern Virginia we are all feeling the uncertainty and anxiety of what the dismantling of govt agencies means for our communities already.
