This feels like a cartoon. This is hilariously absurd except that it's also gravely absurd. And the government still doesn't care. A lot of the burden of home front support was and still is on civilians and they focus on moving huge sums of money to the West Bank settlers instead.

And it adds up to the soldier border watchers who reported suspicious activity and were ignored (possibly a sexist thing), a radio loving neighbor who reported and was ignored... Not only that - military forces & civil guard guns were REMOVED from around Gaza to support West Bank settlers!

This whole government. This entire year. I'm one of the people who frequented the protests,with historical 6-figure numbers of attendees, in a tiny country. They ignored everyone who showed them a reality they don't like, be it financial expert that said that dictatorship would be wrong, or this.UGH

I hate that. My body has decided that 3-4 hours are enough every night the past 10 nights and at some point admitted it was wrong. Whyyyyy

And one day when - if - we forget that we ever wanted to kill each other, a Palestinian could go visit Tel Aviv and an Israeli could go visit Gaza. They're only a bit over 1hr drive.
We do have Muslims in Israel, and afaik it's a haven for LGBT+ Arabs even.
It's not perfect, but we'll all fix that.

If people have been living in Tel Aviv for what seems like forever, they should belong there. If people do in Gaza, same, robbing someone of their home is terrible.
