One idea is car designers could design a car that actually accommodated children. Babies and toddlers might always need a car seat, but you could have a 5 point harness in the rear seat and design it so it's safe for kids, say, 5 and up

I've hated SUVs since the 90s; one thing that would need to addressed in this is car seats. A huge reason people get bigger cars is that car seats are incredibly cramped in small cars. Everyone I know who has 3 kids has upsized their car; if you have 4 kids you literally can't own a small car
