"How's the election in Canada going?" You may ask...

The amount of times I've had to explain to people this week that their *opinion* on whether or not a policy proposal is blatantly unconstitutional doesn't change the fact that it is in fact unconstitutional makes me want to auto-defenestrate.

If Pierre Poilievre will let his staff rough up and threaten members of the media while he's campaigning, it's not hard to imagine the way he'd run Canada. His inspiration is an American tyrant, and it shows.

If the @americanbar.org and the US #Lawsky community are not out on the streets enforcing regime change after this, the practice of law and the administration of justice in the United States is a farce. This is an insult to the fabric of justice, and an assault on any who dare question Fuhrer Trump.

No. No more "pause", no more moving goal posts. #Canada has had enough of living under the looming threat of a trade war that Vice President Trump is clearly afraid of. Canada should keep our tariffs until this stops for good

What's wrong, bud? I thought you didn't need anything we had? Too scared?

Is our perspective of #LegalTech wrong?

In my latest #substack piece, I suggest that we reframe not only how we view legal technology, but how we view legal process design as a whole.

For anyone who needs to hear this today:

I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

2-2 for #TFClive in DC. Bernadeschi and Corbeneau are a dynamic duo up front, but our midfield loses possession so much it's forcing our back line to try long passes that they're clearly not comfortable with. We need a strong midfield playmaker.
February 23, 2025 at 2:57 AM
Halftime for #TFClive and all I can say is Corbeneau is exactly what we needed up front, but it's blatantly obvious he has no support from the midfield. Also painful to watch our backline. Scoring goals is important, but preventing them is even moreso.
