Vote for whomever can best beat a Tory in your riding. The Liberals have done nothing to deserve power other than be less disastrously evil than the Cons. Canada truly deserves better.

Arctic defense inadequacy- defense gap across the board- has been sneaking up for year. Last Tory fed govt did nothing, all about enriching friends and implanting US-style tax policy. Sincerely think we need to bypass US completely and ask NATO partners for major help till we get it in order.

Europe, in some places, certainly. China, I will certainly try to increase my information, though I'm obviously skeptical. In the U.S., and increasingly in Canada, the whole notion that governments 'take care' seems to have been rejected more and more since the 80s. It's all transactional.
