Thinking about funeral director life in case anybody feels like chatting. It weighs on you. It’s hard not to take it home with you.

The Grabber is the true successor to Freddy but Art the Clown is the one who earned that title.

You’re a serious writer. You cannot start working on a trash novel about Willy Wonka commanding an army of oops loompas to stop a gremlin infestation. I don’t care how bad you want to do chocolate-river-transformed gremlins. You will not do it.

Pearl Jam is so much better when you imagine all the lyrics are being shouted at you from a neighbor who is drunk and prone on their porch.

Is there a brief moment when a person is hanged when their back pops just right? Just feels like that might be the case.

Actually, let me take this opportunity to plug my debut anthology. It’s the Vein Introduction to Macabre Myths and Monsters. A mouthful, sure, but an enjoyable read all things considered. www.amazon.com/Vein-Introdu...

I’m off today and tomorrow. Is it weird to actually look forward to work though? Like, I’m in a weird place where I love my job. I’m excited to go there. The pay is just ok, but the people are awesome. I basically make the printed materials for funeral services and I gotta say it’s a 10/10 gig.

I’m checking out bluer skies given all the people migrating here. Had this account for awhile, but haven’t posted often. I’m a short horror writer with one book published and another two in the barrel.

Shrek 2 is the most accurate depiction of insecurity in a relationship. I truly feel like Shrek, as many women thirst after him, is a broken being who would always seek to be the best version of himself for the one he loves. That’s one of his main draws.

Just got done listening to a 3.5 hour long audiobook. Clive Barker’s Hellbound Heart. I forgot how fantastic it is. Depraved in the best way. It’s one of those stories you start and just can’t put away until it’s over.
