If you’ve even just thought of visiting Nova Scotia, Canada, you’ve likely seen photos of Lunenberg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It’s a charming fishing village with deep history. You should visit despite its popularity.

The area near Burntcoat, Nova Scotia is known for the bore tide on the Bay of Fundy. Here, you can watch the tide rise up to 50ft. All that water creates rapids and mud banks which are an adventurers dream! White water rafting and mud sliding are a must!

Hopewell Rocks (nature’s flower pots), located in New Brunswick Canada is an extraordinary place where you can experience the magnitude of the bore tide. We kayaked in this area and later walked the exact places where the water had receded a few hours later. It was fantastic, even in the rain.
