Just a man, standing in front of a social media portal...
Did the Dublin marathon today in 3 hours 49 and 14 seconds. Delighted with that on a tough day. The Dublin crowds would restore your faith in humanity, especially for so many people to come out in the biting wind and rain. Think I spotted Catherine Connolly at the exit of the Phoenix park!

You know, we aren't too far from the writer of Father Ted becoming a Born Again Christian, right?

I am once again BEGGING people Leftists to stop doing this.

When you fat-shame a racist, they may or may not care, but your fat friends see your post, and they certainly do care, because you're telling them how you really see them.

People who enjoy bullying like this don't belong on the Left.

This is who Paul hangs around, who is pally with, who he is an ideological ally with on trans rights.

Why on earth would anyone who loves and values trans people, or a trans person themselves, want anything to do with a man who is friendly with Dennis Kavanagh online? 4/

Here is Paul accepting a description of those who have an issue with the award as "bastards."

So, if you're an author on the list who is hanging in in the hope that Paul will change, you're going to be sorely disappointed. 3/

Here is Paul positively interacting with Dennis Noel Kavanagh, who is one of the more strident GC activists out there. How strident? He once tweeted that he preferred AIDS to trans rights advocacy. And Paul is his ideological ally on trans people. Why would anyone want an award from Paul? 2/

Here is a high profile "Gender Critical" activist confirming what is obvious: Paul Burston, founder of the Polari Prize, is a (low profile) "gender critical" activist.

To accept a prize from a GC activist in 2025 is a huge slap in the face to the trans community.

It gets worse... 1/
August 12, 2025 at 7:01 AM
Paul signed a petition in 2018. (The petition was hacked at some stage.) Also, he follows a who's-who of gender critical accounts. He is very clearly a GC person himself, for a long time. If people knew this and kept working with him, it brings into question their judgement and trans allyship.
August 11, 2025 at 7:45 AM
Paul Burston is the founder of the Polari Prize and a supporter of LGB Alliance. Malcom Clark is a founder of LGB Alliance, and he is currently using transphobic slurs and calling trans women who have an issue with the Polari Prize "freaks."

That is what you support if you support the Polari Prize.

If you don't know what I am talking about, behold this marvellous exchange from back in Graham's early days of transphobic activism.

JK Rowling has had her Linehan "chair" moment. It was bound to happen sooner or later.
August 9, 2025 at 10:42 PM
And when I challenged her on this, I got my own piece of bespoke and childish abuse, and an assertion that she could always tell as trans women are all just "men in wigs and skirts."

It's so reductive, and snide, and thoughtless and cruel. 2/
June 23, 2025 at 2:09 PM
When Rowling says "men", she means trans women, and this tweet endangers all women. It had multiple replies where "decent men" and "real men" were being urged to commit vigilante violence. And when they do commit that violence? "Nothing to do with us," will be the line. 1/

Richard Ayoade said in a recent newspaper interview that Graham Linehan is "a man of great principle."

These two tweets are exactly two years apart, and they demonstrate neatly that Ayoade is either a terrible judge of character, or is a terrible character himself.

It's beyond ridiculous that Akua Reindorf, commissioner of the UK EHRC, tasked with protecting the human rights of trans people in the UK, has attended a Genspect conference, along with people who compare "the trans cult" to ISIS, and Linehan, who recently advocated violence against trans women.
May 20, 2025 at 8:42 PM
Don't believe what you read in the press today, Rowling would absolutely fire someone who supports trans rights if she had the power to do so. How do I know that? Because, she said this in December 2024 about a woman who supports trans rights:
May 6, 2025 at 4:17 PM
She "seems to make a point of ignoring me."

Rowling revealed herself to be "gender critical" in 2020, nearly 5 years ago.

You'd think he'd let it go, there's obviously some reason why she doesn't want anything to do with him, but he doesn't seem to want to take "no" for an answer.
May 2, 2025 at 6:39 PM
I know Graham is writing a new sitcom, but he'll never write anything funnier than his tweets begging JK Rowling - who has never acknowledged his existence - to get a friend of hers to apologise to him publicly.
May 2, 2025 at 6:36 PM
Graham Linehan is no longer for strict gun control, as another domino falls in his conversion to Right Wing blowhard.
May 2, 2025 at 6:34 PM
Remember this "gender critical" artist who set out to do 100 portraits of "detransitioned women" 3 years ago and was determined to finish in 2025? She's done ONE portrait this year, which comes almost a year after she produced the last one. This is what happens when GC people sniff their own farts.
April 29, 2025 at 9:45 AM
Today, JK Rowling is telling her 14 million followers to listen to someone who is a Tommy Robinson supporter who retweets tweets calling black people "monkeys" and "melanated savages."

Who's on the wrong side of history here?
April 24, 2025 at 7:02 PM
Couldn't put my finger on where I'd see that pose before...
April 17, 2025 at 6:57 AM
Excellent news: It seems that the "Natural Women's Council" on April 5th, a meeting of anti-trans activists and others, is now no longer taking place in The Johnstown Estate.

Graham Linehan was promoting this event (and was due to speak by video-link) a few days ago, so expect a tantrum.
