Just a great big pile of a lot of comics, books, and art I've worked on over the years. To everyone out there creating your art, please keep on doing it. Every step of the creative process is a wonderful experience and you'll be much happier for it. Keep creating, go nuts!

It's always a blast when I get to draw kaiju on the job; here's a sticker design I made for @collectsideshow.bsky.social where they allowed me to indulge in my usual monster-mania!

Unfortunately I didn't get around to making a "No Kings" post last Saturday...on a completely unrelated topic, here's a drawing of the Edgar Allan Poe classic tale 'Hop-Frog'. I needed the right reference for the evil and foolish king so I went with a modern source.

Enjoying the June gloom? Remember, creepy kiddies, the best way to avoid the summer sun is to stay inside and read comics! aidancasserly.bigcartel.com

I recently watched the documentary "Pee-wee as Himself"; I've only ever drawn Pee-wee once before, as part of a drawing request where a patron asked for a 'Face/Off' parody but with Paul Reubens and Nicolas Cage (and hey, I think it could have worked as a movie!).

"7 Faces of Dr. Lao" artwork I drew forever ago (it's almost as old as Dr. Lao himself!); the quote, of course, is taken from the movie.

Gruesomely great times at Collector's Paradise in Pasadena! Thank you so much to everyone who came to the signing (and a huge thanks to the @collectorsparadise.bsky.social staff for being so awesome) and hope you enjoyed all the weirdness!

Here's a selected storyboard sequence from 'Dr. Caliban and the Beasts from Earth's Burning Hole', showcasing one of the battle scenes (yay, fighting!). Like the other episodes this was all done in Toon Boom Storyboard Pro, a program I used back when I was a storyboard artist for films & animations.

Looking back on a slew of horror-star caricatures I did over a decade ago; my skills did improve more over the years but I'm still glad I got to have so much fun drawing these and paying homage to all of the creative creepy creatures who inspire my work.

Happy World Goth Day, darlings. I don't know where the bird came from; he just wandered into the shot (I asked him when we was taking off...he just said, "Nevermore, b**ch"). #worldgothday

A sketch I did for my wife 2 years ago when she went to Cruel World (the year Iggy Pop and Siouxsie Sioux performed, despite the weather's wrath). Cruel World sounds like fun, if you're not getting scorched in the sun, soaked in rain, or chased away by thunder...one of these years I'll actually go!

Frankenstein Friday: here's some older art I drew of kaiju caveman Furankenshutain battling Baragon and Oodako in the cult classic 'Frankenstein Conquers the World'!

R.I.P. Jim Smith. I've written a longer obit for him on my other social media (too long to post here), so I'll give the quick version now that he was a super-nice guy and always fun to work with. Here's hoping he's still drawing really crazy, weird, messed-up cartoons on heaven's clouds right now.

Here's a brief sequence from 'Dr. Caliban and the Beasts from Earth's Burning Hole', where the new gang attempts to recruit a kaiju plesiosaur...with obvious results.

Alas, no FCBD signings for me this year, but today I urge you all...Read comics! Love comics! Make comics! Support your local comic shop, your favorite creators/writers/artists, and give comic-creating a shot if it's something you've ever wanted to do. Enjoy your Free Comic Book Day!

New 'poster' art I made for the latest Dr. Caliban episode, done in the style of vintage horror movies and comics (which is always fun to draw). If you haven't already seen the new show, give it a watch and enjoy the monstrous lunacy!
