Since the RCs have general combat utility instead of countering a single foe, it effectively adds new abilities to Sora's kit to make up for the world's lack of Drive Forms/Summons.

Hey, thanks! Each puzzle has a dat file in the "table" folder, in which bytes 9-12 should be the Gold time (little-endian, in seconds).

I'm honestly not sure about the Silver and Bronze – I had theorized that the game calculates them as a percentage of the Gold time, but I never did pin it down

As of right now, mostly not. I put the bug fixes and animation repairs into a JP copy - the functional stuff - but the extras are just in the English patch

There's a hub app called "KH Avatar Kingdom" (only partially preserved) that allowed you to download the mini-games and episodes of coded. Once downloaded, they could be launched separately and then send rewards back to the Avatar Kingdom for your account.
On an emulator, they'd be their own apps.

Just the mini-games. Sadly, we don't have the data to decrypt and play the original coded yet (though it's getting more likely each year – maybe one day)

Well, KH Mobile was released in 6 chunks over two years, and during that time we also had:
- 358/2 Days
- Birth by Sleep
- 8 (9) episodes of coded, interspersed between

Put it all together and you have – hopefully – someone else's problem -_-

I felt the "child" thing has some narrative payoff, but no such justification for the other two. That just felt icky.

But now that I'm thinking about it, I guess Salubra's Blessing was a similar joke in HK? It felt weird for different reasons, but food for thought
