I haven’t been since I moved up here (SeaTac). Was a lot easier when I lived in Birmingham. I do miss the smaller 2002-2005 crowds, though.

Even a cursory look into Washington state politics shows you how far removed from actual problems the dems are. I leave city hall meetings absolutely furious. And my other option? Voting for MAGA loons. I’m caught with no one to represent the day to day interests of citizens.

I have a very cute but very mean little tabby whose teeth recently cost me $2500. For that one week she was on pain meds, she turned into a completely different and insanely affectionate kitty. Worth it :)

When I lived in TX I heard this a lot. Even saw people who were fired from jobs not take unemployment because they thought it was a handout and were too prideful.
