My last cup of 2025, the first year of my Pokemon TCG career! Changes to Grimmsnarl were basically just adding consistency via Nest Ball and Iono, and the extra E. Switch makes Pecharunt ex a BEAST for closing out tight games. Need to practice it more next year, but happy to have gone out on a 2-3.

Long and tiring Monday, but fun! I got to tour the MBTA’s train and bus parts factory in Everett, and I need my afternoon with 3.1 miles around my favorite track in anticipation of a 5K this weekend…my feet hurt!

Shonen training arc reaches a milestone! Last night I went 3-1-1 at a challenge with this Grimmsnarl list! Got top 8, prize packs, store credit, and 8 championship points 😭 I am really loving this consistent spread deck against the current meta, Grimmy boy gets the job done 💪🏼

We went to the Survivor fan cafe last night! They have two floors with a few games directly from the show, the whole menu is themed, and lots of photo ops. But pricey, but worth it for diehard fans or folks who want a unique date night

First time placing dead last at a challenge this Sunday with Raging Bolt. Was able to pull off a surprising tie against a slow player and misplay FIVE CONSECUTIVE turns against Eevee Box. I think I’m at 0 cp now 😄

I haven’t shown you guys my new car yet! This is Luna :) She’s a 2011 Maxima, and I love her very much. I am quickly remembering how to drive well and it’s great, but I still hate the highway 😖

Stayed up late last night finishing The Bear s4 and putting my entire Pokemon card collection into a sorted cardboard long box! It’s sooooo satisfying seeing everything in there with labels and room to spare for future pickups 😊

NAIC was incredible! Had some amazing New Orleans food, won a ton of prizing from the spectator side events, hung out with old friends and new, and got to enjoy the queer night life pretty much every night I was there 😅 Can’t wait to hopefully compete next year.

Fellow ADHD havers or just folks who are bad with timing: This may seem like an obvious tip, but Google Maps’s directions let you set when exactly you want to ARRIVE somewhere and tell you precisely when to leave.
This has been a LIFESAVER for me when I never know what time to leave for things!

I completed my two Pokemon TCG master sets today- Smoochum my favorite Pokemon, and the Shrouded Fable set! These were such fun projects, and a great way to interact with the collecting community. For the sake of my wallet though, I'll be taking a break from set collecting for now 😊
