Income taxes are about 100 yrs old. Before that, the government obtained their money primarily from import taxes - ie Tarriffs. This isn't new, just rolling things back a century.
Income tax came in as a way to tax primarily the rich, for the benefit everyone. Way better idea to return to that idea.

I remember being at a Caribbean resort with these in their grass. I remember crouching down touching the plants for like 15 minutes because it was so cool! Employees probably like "stupid tourists, playing with the weeds..." 😅

I'm sorry, but since when has a "learning to code bootcamp" become a "hackathon"??? That's like comparing a gymnastics class of 6 yr olds, to a "cirque du soleil production". One's a group of beginners, the other is elite. Both groups are important, they're just not the same calibre.

They're ripping off the Avengers movie: Captain America - Winter Soldier, Project Insight. An "algorithm to root out individuals that would oppose or threaten... The algorithm used every variable of a person's life such as bank records, voting patterns..." to try to mass execute any opposition.

Crazy wind after several large back-to-back snowstorms. The weather report says in Toronto it's 48km/h wind, gusting to 67km/h at 4:30pm. (roughly 30mph wind, gusting to 41.6mph)

Because when they're building the fake TV set... straight corridors might let you accidentally see the equipment & cameras, etc. Whereas curved ones hide the equipment/staff so much better in less floor space!
