If a paint similar to acrylic, but also usable like watercolor, interests you, you might like gouache. Gouache is a fun medium but it takes some learning adjustment to get used to it. Every time I come back to gouache I feel like I need to relearn it. The way I go about painting with gouache is pretty simple and cant be applied to other mediums as well.

This sketchbook prompt is easy and doesn't take too much skill. Just allow yourself to think creatively and play. There's just to easy steps. 1) Make blobs- I used watercolor for my blobs but you could also use markers. I just wouldn't use anything too thick that would make it difficult to draw over. Don't overthink the blobs. In fact don't think too much about the blobs that will make the drawing later more fun.
