It also accepts all sync types so you don't have to worry about what cables you are using. Although having good cables makes a huge difference. Analogue video gets complicated and having a bit of kit I know has been tested for a wide range of possibilities and built well is worth it for me.

So a lot of the random switches you see on eBay/Amazon etc can be all over the place. Some don't isolate the ports from one another leading to leakages between devices which could damage what's plugged into them. Others can end up adding a lot of noise to the signal resulting in a crappier picture.

You both should check out retrogamingcables, UK based so no mad tariffs to deal with. I have an Otaku scart switch I got ages ago that's done me well. They don't stock it anymore but they do have their own branded ones for £60: www.retrogamingcables.co.uk/audio-video-...

Felt this way as soon as I saw screenshots of Delta. You can feel the humidity of the jungle with how drenched and overbearing the light and colour can be in MGS3.

It's the same with the Colossus remake, part of the character of the game is missing without that light making it feel ethereal.

I am ashamed to say I am a complete sucker for this kind of thing. It took 21 minutes and 156 parries after multiple attempts.

These captures look great! Really curious, how are you getting such a good footage of the screen?

I just finished my first full play through of it on original hardware via a Tink 4k. Was also blown away by some of the environments. There's a little window in one of the rooms that has an fmv for trees blowing in the wind. Such a neat and pretty trick!

Onimusha is another great environment game.

All good. Think their shipping to the UK is between £5 - £10. But yeah no messing with tax, long shipping times from the US etc plus supporting a UK based shop that does other neat stuff like memcardpro.

I don't think there's that much markup. I bought a Tink 4k direct from Mike in January 2024. $750 + $79 delivery which was around £656 then and had to pay £129 in import tax so all in all £785. Looking at exchange rates now it would've been £773.

£750 from a UK seller seems decent.
