A layered and textures painting on canvas. Bright red paint, laid on thickly to leave the ridges and smears visible, makes the background. Spattering of darker crimson adds depth, while a series of black shapes scratched onto the canvas suggest a face, or something approaching a face. The word "PIT" has been crudely painted onto the canvas three times in white.
