@patstaresat.bsky.social just finished Khazan. It's up there with From, the dungeons are amazing and expansive, and pay homage to demons souls, ds, BB, and ER. The bosses are tough but fair and have flair. Combat is fantastic. Absolutely amazing game that I highly recommend.

Just beat The First Berserker: Khazan.
The dungeon designers are on par with fromsoft, they pay homage to Souls, BB, & Elden Ring, & they build on it, superb! It's a great dungeon crawler, the castles are amazing, enemy designs and placements are great too, fantastic gameplay design. 1/3

Just played Devil May Cry 3 for the first time, it's pure art, absolutely loved it, what a fantastic game and definitely in my top games of all time now.

@patstaresat.bsky.social hey Pat, just played dmc5 & enjoyed it, combat was top notch but felt it was lacking in other areas. Then I played dmc3 & was BLOWN AWAY! It's pure art & in retrospect 5 has sooo much missing (level design / aesthetic) compared to 3, so how come it's reviewed so well?
