I will say having my partner around has highly incentived more home cooking as it feels less wasteful. But it’s soooo nice to feel good after finishing cooking’

Mhmmm. Plus, for me atleast it really helps beat the lack of sunshine in the winter. Getting off, smelling the freshness of herbs when cooking helps my brain think it’s summer again. I think a lot of mental health could be alleviated with cooking and making sure to get sunlight in the winter

Haha 😅. I just find myself consistently more disappointed with dining out when I find a lot of satisfaction cooking at home.

It wasn’t crazy, but the damage was $35 per person. The chicken breast was completely dry too, makes me eager to cook at home for date night (but it is nice to go out occasionally)
