I think that one is a different company (I have it unbuilt actually haha) but yea FDJ makes a 1/72 origin GM in two colors and a 1/72 origin zaku in green or Char's red

That price is inflated but I can vouch for the quality of the FDJ upscales. I've got the big zaku and GM and they are delightful

These things are great just don't go down the rabbit-hole chasing the 'perfect handheld' or you'll end up like the people on the subreddit who own 200 of these things and are never satisfied.

I don't even think miniature diorama racing is necessarily a bad idea but a version where you essentially have the draw distance of a ps1 game is very questionable
