This administration is a bunch of sycophantic fucking morons.

Sans serif fonts, on screens, aid readability. Sure, use serif fonts where appropriate, but find me an e-commerce site that uses Times New Roman in their checkout flow.

If AI eats SAAS companies like Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella says (probably more true than not since tech will easily be replicated like how Instagram copies Snapchat’s Stories), software that CAN’T be copied might be things like HCI interfaces such as www.myscript.com

The “Which came first, the chicken or the egg?” problem is an easy one. Whatever it was that laid the first egg that spawned the organism we call the chicken was not called a chicken. We prioritize naming the organism first, not their reproductive process artifacts.

The worst infringement an app can make is bogarting your keyboard shortcuts globally.

iPadOS26 just did this with the universal hotkey for App Settings, [Command + ,] which now brings up iPadOS Settings, not the focused app’s settings.

If ya’ll see a way to change this, lemme know.

I learned the best thing this week: start your markdown document heading with H3s. This gives you room to scale both up and down and really just makes writing much easier

If you’re a software, and you install system-wide shortcuts by default that override application shortcuts, you’re an asshole.

The humble screenshot might be the key to great AI assistants
You should be taking more screenshots. Seriously.

Ai will do any task better than a human can they said…
They’re probably right…

Tip for Ai prompting… the Flesch score, or how easy a piece of text is to read (calculated by sentence length and word syllable count).
• 0–100 scale (higher = easier to read)
• 90–100 = very easy (like a kids' book)
• 60–70 = standard (like most newspapers)
• 0–30 = very difficult (academic papers)

Really getting into app building with ai lately. Trying Replit today for a tool i’ve been searching for but haven’t found that doesn’t require a subscription for a simple CRUD application…
