Anyways, since I haven't mentioned it here.

What happened in the Wheel of Time finale was an exemplification of the shows colorism problem, made worse by killing a character off in a way that plays into queerphobic tropes.

It was gross, unnecessary, and won't age well.

It's real funny how bad the powerful want this man to be the Adjuster.

Like, you've already lost. Nobody cares what he did, anyone, will be viewed as a martyr.

Force, when used by the people, is called "violence" and "terror." When used by the powerful, it is called "law enforcement" and "policy."

So I saw Wicked Part I today and I have to say.

Somehow they did it.

Somehow they captured the beauty and spectacle of the Broadway production on the big screen.

Solid 10 from me

Can't wait for Part 2

people who hate musicals talk about it endlessly... it kind of sounds like it's a really big emotion that might be best expressed through song for them

Seeing a lot of, there's not even an illusion of choice in Dragon Age The Veilguard, takes.

I have to ask, have you ever actually played a Bioware game before.

They all have this problem, and Veilguard is on the end of providing more choices than others

Gonna say it. Aside from DA 2, Veilguard has my favorite set of companions.

Emmerich is the best, and was not my intended first playthrough romance, but it happened anyway.

So Booktok is proving to be the right leaning hellscape its always been.

As a reminder, all art is political, there is no such thing as escapist literature.

The slow trickle of MAGA folks over here underscores how much their experience of online is entirely dependent on people getting mad at them. It also underscores how even they, given the option, would rather not hang out with themselves either.
