I saw some bugs. 🌱🪲🐛🦋the monarch was the only one I saw this year and it was way too late in the season for it. Hope it made it southward.

I grew a new pepper this year called “habenada” bred to look like an habenero but with no heat. They did great and produced a lot of now ripening peppers, BUT. They taste like gasoline. Just horrible. I’m so disappointed! What a garden waste. 🌱

I wrapped them up in hardware cloth to stymie the squirrels. Wish me luck.

CSA drop 3 days before out of town vacation. Guess I’m cooking. Today, I made zucchini fritters and potato salad and will make dinner (steak, corn, green beans, tomatoes). Tomorrow is jiardinere, fridge garlic dills, and stuffed green peppers.
