Stop it! You’re slaying me!

For me it was both. But I’ll never buy from Tesla again as long as Musk is involved in any capacity.

But I highly recommend EVs otherwise. There is hardly any maintenance! No engine, no transmission, no radiator. If you have a garage, charge at home! Just check the tire pressures, change air filter

I sold my motorcycle shortly after moving here. Bring Drivers Ed back to high school! FFS! What are they teaching?

Pick something easier next time! Gary Strange Love? Land of the Gary-ied? WTF? I’m done.

For those considering a hybrid, consider this. You have *ALL* of the regular maintenance of a traditional gasoline engine, with a substantially reduced electrical vehicle’s range. Pure EV: no radiator, transmission, differential, spark plugs, air filter… Rotate the tires, check the break pads. Done.

Your creations are absolutely beautiful. Sucks being self employed. But it’s also GREAT!

How do you know Monty Python? Nee!

Apple dropped support for my 27-inch intel iMac, so Linux was my only option. And I have to admit it’s just glorious on the big screen! But I’m a nerd. It took me months to explain subdirectories to my CPA wife. (And then she went wild over them!) Bottom line - Ubuntu is the easiest distro Ive used

Point taken. But I’m way beyond the ‘latest and greatest’ bleeding edge of technology phase. It’s just not worth the money! And I love Linux, especially over Windows - any time I need help wondering around system configuration - there is help online. I just think it is beyond your average user.

Linux is really incredible for anyone who grew up with Unix and terminal command line interfaces. But it’s still too complicated for your average ‘I just need a Word Processor’ or the ‘Spreadsheet’ crowd. Ubuntu is the easiest distro I’ve encountered, and I still won’t recommend it.

Probably MAGA anyway. Their loss.

Logic has never been this administration’s strong points. Only hate. TYFYS.

I fear this is just the beginning. What a time to be alive? Hang on tight over there.

Magnets don’t need batteries. Taping doesn’t need magnets. The old ways…. Lost arts. Erm, did I misinterpret your post?

Maybe to show the rest of the world we aren’t all nuts?

Drive by a Tesla showroom, they have plenty of them sitting around. Tesla is (finally) taking them as trade-ins. And yes, at a substantial loss.

Elaborate please. There are so many reasons…

Yep,I like the cove detail. But I don’t know where you’re going ultimately. Face frames and back boards give shelving a lot of strength, and for a pottery shop, you’re probably going to need it. I’m guessing painted when finished.

It looks like a fun project. I miss the smell of fresh milled wood.

A wise man once told me that Woodworking was all about recovering from your mistakes. Nicely done. And sliding doves. Very elegant.

Today you need to post as “Denver is too damn HOT”
