My town had a small share of these funds for its projects, which include $1M for my agency’s clinic construction. Gridlock in Congress isn’t just an abstraction, it directly affects local communities who otherwise can’t afford infrastructure & program improvements.

Great stuff in here for nonprofit comms folks. I'm personally working on strengthening our crisis comms plan, because we have a CEO who is a little too confident in thinking she can handle media on her own.
