I hope that you are right, but... Dozens of other times we have thought that. I remember very early in his first term, when the Comey thing blew wide open. We thought that. We always get the ball pulled away from us. There are hundreds of insiders who could have stepped forward. None ever do.

If it were me, I would be training it as I go, which over time, would gradually reduce its error rate very significantly. Cheers, A.

Sometimes it is not just about time - it can do a thing I can not do, such a physics question or explaining phenomena in simple terms. Other times it's just pleasure - to be able to read a "5 page history of Newfoundland with emphasis on working class and indigenous people."

It is, generally, a huge time saver. The most obvious is research. With a decent promot, it can produced cited research results in 15 min that woukd take me days. Also for the "How do I ..." for hobby, home, mechanics... amazing time saver.

OMG. I watched it without sound, for about 30 seconds. Yikes! How weird he is with his gestures and facial expressions. He is a deeply shallow and pained person. Seriously hope he gets help.

Been there, done that. He sounds like a guy who is already thinking in the back of his mind about the next drink and how he can possibly stop. Abstinence and recovery are sisters, but man, totally different sisters.

Perhaps there was no fissionable material at the sites. Perhaps T is lying. Since we know that the second of these is always true, my guess is that both are true.

I doubt this is true. It seems like too large a number. Air defense is also too vague a term to even know what it means. My ears perk up when I read "XXX media reports...". That is not a source. I am not sure what good it does to post provocative quotes without a source.

I am not sure she said that. While I think she is an ogre, this does not seem like a real quote.

There are some great contributions amid the 99% of useless stuff. I agree that the layout is bonkers. Anyway, I use reddit content frequently when researching, I just have AI do the searching for me, ensuring to tell it to include reddit, linkedin, and quora in the search. Cheers, A

I use chatGBT and Gemini a lot. When I have had a session with either of them, it is common for me to summarize the findings we agreed on. It might start with the research project on rural nonprofits that have to have them do more with less. I summarize the findings in MD and can use in a handout.

I do a lot of writing in markdown. Also ask chatGPT to output stuff for me in markdown so I can add it into my document. Google docs has an intelligent paste markdown command, but I do a lot of text editing these days, when it's prose, not programming, in Typora, which is a great markdown editor.

I have used 'em all. I don't use Emacs much anymore and after Multics, the emacs I used most was Lugaru's Epsilon, since I was never a unix/keyboard type. I always think of the early days discovering Emacs. It was wondrous, like the first time one played with a Mac.
