Anime’s history goes way back to works appearing in 1917 dating back to The Dull Sword directed by Junichi Kouchi. (I’ve yet to see it) My beginning of Anime starts with Studio Ghibli where I saw Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke which came out in 2001 and 1997, both are amazing.
