Ken Buesseler at COP30 is dealing with the challenges on day 1 of no power at the Ocean Pavilion- so no slides, microphone or AC, so sweaty and shouting over the noise, at a panel he organized on marine carbon dioxide removal. Holding up his laptop was the best solution to showing a couple of images, here of marine phytoplankton as seen from space after an iron enrichment experiment in the Southern Ocean.
