Whatever the case may be, the choice remains up to Ukrainians & Ukrainians alone.
We will likely know of it very clearly in the coming days-week/s.
And I will be here, as always, to report on it.

Is it really expected of it to sell its very foundations for vague promises and an unreliable ''partner'' that now strongarms it in cooperation with those who wish to destroy it ?

That, and, on a more philosophical note - Ukraine is the nation that has built what it is today off the back of the ''Revolution of Dignity'' - the Euromaidan.

Denying them all this now by not signing onto this deal would mean denying them the one thing they so desperately want and need - a way out of this absolute failure of an attempt at empire-building they've made for themselves.

Make no mistake - the situation with Russian companies such as Lukoil and Rosneft is far worse than previously thought.
There are many pressures on the Russians as well, though not as visible as occupied territory.

23/
November 22, 2025 at 8:47 PM
To Ukraine and its allies it would give stability, even if bringing along with it a more difficult overall situation.
To Russia it would deny all that has been mentioned prior.

~ who are pushing very hard for this ''deal'' on the information space, a quick victory & ''out'' with the ability to just come back at a later date.

Whilst very important, I believe it's a difficult pill to swallow, but one that would grant Ukraine & its allies something they have been lacking for quite some time whilst denying the Russians, ~

The only real differences being in the form of the specific wording used and the fact that this time, as per this ''deal'', Ukraine would be required to pay for these vague ''guarantees.''
The only thing the US brings to the proverbial table are its intelligence capabilities.

20/
November 22, 2025 at 8:47 PM
The ''NATO-style guarantees'' supposedly included in the Russo-American ''peace deal'' are just a repeat of Budapest - vague promises of some undisclosed action.

19/
November 22, 2025 at 8:47 PM
The US is no longer an ally or partner, and it has not been for over a year at this point.
US aid is essentially non-existent.
The US has been & remains unwilling or unable to back Ukraine politically or even acknowledge the factual realities of this war.

18/
November 22, 2025 at 8:47 PM
The Ukrainians are put before a choice I believe is best outlined by Zelensky in his address - that between dignity or their continued partnership with the US.
I, personally and with my limited knowledge, believe the choice to be obvious.

The most noteworthy changes today, however, are largely political.
It has now become clear that the US intends to once again pressure Ukraine, in spite of it being Ukraine that has, thus far, accepted every US ceasefire and peace proposal - not Russia.
