The Oilers' core is taking heat for not speaking to the media last night. Yes, they need to be A LOT better but there are too many passengers hiding behind them this season.

I'm proud to say that I was at the 10-2 loss to the Sabres 16 years ago. Row 2 on the goal line that the Sabres attacked twice. What a night.

Bouchard normally has a long leash with me but he needs to be a 90 point player just to break even on these bone head defensive plays. He's basically MA Bergeron so far this season.

There is no combination of words that can do justice to how much I don't care how badly Bouchard is in October as long as Playoff-Bouchard shows up in the spring.

I'm still not a Stan Bowman fan, but I am relieved that I shouldn't have to worry about all this extra cap space McDavid is leaving him being wasted on a Cody Ceci.
