I had a long, leisurely run today. Slower than my usual runs, since I was with 3 friends. I gotta say I'm pretty impressed with how I feel afterward. Those three friends have talked me into doing a 50K race in 2 weeks. More than double the distance I've ever done

I had a good time taking in a Spring Training baseball game with my dad. We saw the Astros vs. Cardinals. It was a competitive and entertaining game, and the weather was perfect today.

At this time last week, I was a little more than halfway thru my 3rd time doing this trail from end to end. 62 miles (100km). Trails were almost completely dry, which is unusual even for this time of year (the dry season) since it's mostly swamp land.

A very nice 10 mile hike out at Bluefield Preserve. It got kind of warm towards the end.

Tonight's run. A half marathon and a new personal best! My 3rd time doing that distance and each time I knock 3 minutes off the time.

How about that consistency in a 10K run! Felt good, but I wasn't expecting that and missed a personal best by 2 seconds. Maybe just slow hitting the button?
I'm going to try a half marathon on Thur. If I can do the additional 11.1k as easy, it could be another personal best.
