Wayyyy overdue.
November 25, 2025 at 2:56 AM
Wow! Spot on. Speaks volumes.
November 22, 2025 at 2:25 AM
The MVPs of their 8 GOP Senate pals who now stand to be paid hundreds of thousands in taxpayer money.
November 13, 2025 at 1:41 AM
The retiring Durbin is part of Schumer's leadership team. He voted the way his leader asked him to and now his leader pretends to disagree with his vote.
November 10, 2025 at 3:22 AM
This is a non-deal. A deal results in each side getting something. Dems got nothing except the promise of a vote guaranteed not to pass in the 60-vote Senate and a vote that will not happen in the House.
November 10, 2025 at 3:19 AM
Hiding.
November 10, 2025 at 3:17 AM
Yeah. A "major factor" which he just helped throw under the bus for the promise of a vote guaranteed to fail the Senate's 60 vote rule.
November 10, 2025 at 3:16 AM
And Durbin's a member of Schumer's "leadership team."
November 10, 2025 at 3:12 AM
Didn't Durbin, a member of Senate "Democratic leadership", just vote yes? Come on!
November 10, 2025 at 3:11 AM
Durbin, his #2 guy on his leadership team, voted for this. Yes, Schumer knew and, yes, he privately agreed then publicly claimed he didn't.
November 10, 2025 at 2:56 AM
Yeah. Closer to a vote 100% guaranteed to lose in the Senate with its 60-vote requirement.
November 10, 2025 at 2:55 AM
Durbin, Schumer's #2 guy in Senate Democratic leadership, speaks volumes about Schumer's fitness to remain leader.
November 10, 2025 at 2:54 AM
It's a Senate vote 100% guaranteed not to pass with the 60-vote minimum in place.
November 10, 2025 at 2:51 AM
Schumer's #2 in Senate Dem leadership, Durbin, also voted to cave. That speaks volumes about Schumer's leadership (or lack thereof).
November 10, 2025 at 2:49 AM
Count Durbin, Schumer's #2 in leadership, as among the Cave Caucus too. Just like earlier this year.
November 10, 2025 at 2:48 AM
Sadly, you make an excellent point.
November 10, 2025 at 2:45 AM
💯
November 10, 2025 at 2:43 AM
If you couldn't keep your caucus from voting for the loss of millions of people's coverage, then you are even more hapless & helpless than we thought. This lifelong Dem thinks you're the worst Senate Democratic leader ever. Trump thanking you again like in March in 3.. 2.. 1...
November 10, 2025 at 2:37 AM
Exactly. I'll donate to some individual Senate Dem campaigns, but not the DSCC so long as he remains leader.
November 10, 2025 at 2:30 AM
Schumer at the top of the list. He's not up to the job. I'll donate to some individual Senate Dem campaigns, but not the DSCC so long as he's leader.
November 10, 2025 at 2:29 AM
No way 10 Democratic Senators voted for this without the private okay of their caucus leader. Whether Schumer agreed or not, he must resign. He's shown--yet again--that he's not fit to lead in these dire times. I'll donate to some individual Dem Senate campaigns, but not the DSCC.
November 10, 2025 at 2:27 AM
"Might not" is too generous. There's zero chance it gets the 60 votes needed to pass the Senate.
November 10, 2025 at 2:23 AM
There is no way the vote will get the 60 votes needed to pass the Senate and they know it. Total cave.
November 10, 2025 at 2:22 AM
There is no way Schumer opposed this deal regardless of his public statement and vote. If he did oppose it, then he was unable to influence a large portion of his caucus on one of the most important votes of his career in leadership. Regardless, he is not up to the dire times we face.
