A silly little socialist goose. I post whatever I want, really.

This is kind of one of those "yes, but" situations.

Yes it's great that China is actually reducing their CO2 emissions, but it takes more than one country (even though it's one of the biggest,) to stop climate change.

Accept this as a win and prepare to move forward with further climate action.

God I hope she doesn't run for governor of California to ruin things more than she already has.

The strategy of "do nothing and move further right" seems like it's gonna stay, lmao

Again, this doesn’t explain why they have censorship. This just says that the US hates China, just like China does with the US.
September 2, 2025 at 3:08 PM
Why still claim that they aren’t aggressive? You have posted NOTHING showing why China is this peaceful nation. You said that they are committed to diplomacy and yet they arm themselves for a war with Taiwan rather than being diplomatic. Same goes for the Philippines. They’re imperialist
September 2, 2025 at 3:03 PM
You’ve ignored every source put forward and haven’t cited your own. It’s hard to take YOU seriously when you’ve written everything I’ve posted as “western propaganda.” Take a step out of your bubble and think— If there is loads of evidence to the contrary (China being aggressive as well…

There are plenty of plans to destroy the US too? Doesn’t make them justified in their militarism.

And before you cite that Taiwan has a one china policy, that's the conservatives there. Most leftists and non-conservatives there think that Taiwan should be its own sovereign state separate from China

Same goes for Taiwan. If China TRULY aimed to secure its own borders, why are they so aggressive toward a sovereign country. Even if it is theirs, they should be more diplomatic rather than aggressive, no?
September 1, 2025 at 9:37 PM
That's not true at all. If it was to secure China, then why are they pushing outwards?

www.cfr.org/global-confl...

Even if the Philippines are a "US ally," that isn't securing China whatsoever.

It's not beneficial to suppress information. Conservatives do that on the internet to push an agenda. It's the same with China.

What if say, Mexico put up a firewall to prevent "eastern meddling," blocking all Chinese sources from the country. That's at minimum, what China is doing
September 1, 2025 at 9:34 PM
That's not a socialist society though. Censorship is a tool for fascists to crush any different form of thinking.

Reporters without borders (very helpful and active when documenting Israel's crimes) document China as a hell for censorship.

Additionally, internet censorship is also pretty right-wing, wouldn't you agree?

People should have the right to access media, regardless of what it contains. It's different than banning nazis on a social media platform, it's about control

I find it interesting how you don't think that China is able to be benevolent towards its own people when its own constitution says it is supposed to be. I do agree that the situation is decent barring things like internet restriction

Religious conservatism is one thing (religion having been, like the USSR, mostly been removed from china,) but social conservatism is another thing

China still supports traditional gender roles, just like plenty of places in the US.

Of course. But you also have problems with labor rights and such. I'm not denying that china has good aspects to it, you're putting words in my mouth. I just think that like the US, China still needs to work on a lot to become truly socialist.

This is a non-US-based source that is from multiple different writers. It's a collaborative effort, basically. You can't ignore my points and just call everything propaganda.

How can you call yourself a socialist when you ignore the most basic evidence?

This you?

You do seem to be quite naive if you're ignoring every source I post, calling it "american propaganda"

Jesus christ man, if you can't provide anything, just say so, lmao. China is better than the us in some ways, yes, but a lot worse in others. Both are flawed countries because of course they are. You can't just disavow every source I post as "propaganda"
