A beer culture critic. A gardener. A scribbler. Shuns junkets. Denies community. Wants Double Double. Also at @agoodbeerblog while that exists as well as @agoodbeerblog@mstdn.social and http://agoodbeerblog.com
I’d also recommend volunteering. I’m on boards for smaller public radio stations on both sides of the border described by the St Lawrence River. Radio nerd. You meet people who don’t necessarily have many interests in common but you do have that one connection. Creates lots of new relationships.

If you prefer to read my posts as emails, you can sign up here! Every blog post is sent out via my newsletter, but I know there are millions and it's tiring to do that, so if you don't, no hard feelings.

That looks one step away from the pontos room with the open connecting troughs set up that our late friend Martyn featured in a post from 2009. zythophile.co.uk/2009/12/24/p... That riverside building, BTW, is still there in Albany NY. Craig G and I poked around it when writing our 2014 book.

Do the rom com stars meet at a pharmacy in the cold remedies aisle, each horrified by their own exhausted disheveled appearance, strangers still drawn together by the common bond of drippy noses?

Same boat. I had extra duties until September and am now burning the days. Feels like napping too much on a winter weekend.
