Talkeetna represent. 40 or so locals and at least 8 dogs at our protest today. Our tiny town is also feeling the effects of uncertainty and firings of dedicated, important Natonal Park Service employees - among so many other egregious acts.

Here we go. My #WOTY (word of the year) for 2025 is "bright." Reminding myself to look on the bright side seems like a good move currently. But I also want to approach my life, decisions, and reactions with intelligence. Here's to brighter days ahead.
