Children have a right to be heard. A future Crimes Against Humanity Convention should also make it clear that children can be victims and witnesses, and must have access to court proceedings and reparations in ways that are tailored to their age.

The new crimes against humanity treaty should:
1. Say that a child is everyone under age 18
2. Add 2 crimes: forced marriage + the recruitment and use of children
3. Specify "age" as a ground for persecution

Kids are victims of every act understood as a crime against humanity: murder, extermination, enslavement, deportation/forcible transfer, imprisonment, torture, sexual violence (rape, sexual slavery, enforced prostitution, forced pregnancy, enforced sterilization), enforced disappearance, apartheid.
