Ever have to deal with people ‘so full of steaming s**t it is excruciating not to say so?’ In my job, it happens often. I figure it’s all part of the human pageant. It helps to retreat into hilarious books like Fever Beach by Carl #Hiaasen, where such malignant idiots always get their due.

Thinking about that peculiar state of #childhood - our imagination, the things we valued, our hopes and dreams. I was big into these old fossils, which I thought had great value, esp. if they were in good shape. We get SO invested in fantasy sometimes. #treasure

I grew up looking at this picture in my family's living room. It corresponds to the man's teaching re: how we should treat the poor, the immigrant, the marginalized. I left #Christianity in large part because Christians were happy to piss on what was to me his central teaching. We CAN do better.

Thinking now of my first laptop / computer; I bought it off a rich uncle in the early 90s, and, man, was I cool. You had to insert one floppy disk for the operating system and one for whatever program you wanted to run. What a blast! (Needless to say, it was already obsolete 😂)
