Since when is Algeria part of the middle east? 🤔

The same as you would not want to pay the same amount for my local national newspaper.

From European perspective, the NYT is just another newspaper.

Their primary newspaper will be a local national one for which people there already will pay, lets say 27€/month. They will most probably not want to pay a high amount for an additional subscription. Outside the US, a subscription to a US newspaper is just less important, hence less valuable.

Your comparison might not be correct. Newspapers charge what they think people want to pay in that specific part of the world.

In the US, the NYT is most probably your first and most important subscription. In Germany, or any where else, it's most probably not.

Bad decision. '' Vacation'' is an industry with a large economic footprint. reducing the days will. not result in economic growth (how much can you produce more in 2 days) but simply wipe out earnings in hotel-stays, restaurant-visits and any leisure activity done during those days.

Agreed, however LLM's are useful to support tracking down those papers that are worth reading more in detail. The worldwide collection of research papers has grown by multiple millions at an ever increasing rate since many of you were students and students only have 24 hours in a day.

This has happened in many countries in the Euro zone.

The result is higher prices for goods as everything gets rounded upwards when paying cash.

It did result in more card payments however.

uh... Ford in Europe has very little in common with Ford usa if you look at the model line up. All European Fords are local designs and builds. Europeans consider Ford to be a German brand because of that.
